United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID is an independent aid agency of the U.S. federal government. It partners with NDPI across programs as a project funder and implementer. Through various projects NDPI and USAID work to boost the agriculture industry and workers’ wages, build government and civil society capacity, and reduce conflicts in the region.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
UNDP is a United Nations program that works to reduce poverty and inequalities by helping countries build up their capacity to take on these issues. NDPI partners with UNDP through a cost-sharing agreement on the design of a Social Sector Investment Framework to fund community development projects.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
GIZ is a German development agency headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn. NDPI and GIZ work together to promote economic growth for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
International Youth Foundation (IYF)
IYF is a foundation driving positive change for young people across the globe. NDPI partners with the IYF to assess baseline data on youth needs and issues in the Niger Delta. In 2012, NDPI and IYF partnered to execute a youth advocacy campaign.
Research Triangle Intstitute International (RTI)
RTI is an independent, nonprofit institute that provides research, development and technical services to government and commercial clients worldwide. In partnering with NDPI, RTI helps guide our capacity building efforts.
